The warehouse district of Minneapolis gained a new pizza place as of June 2025. Hometowne Pizza features a full bar, arcade, multiple TVs, and of course multiple pizzas. We headed out on a weeknight to taste five of their over 20 pizza options, not including custom orders. Keep scrolling to see our ratings, and why these pizzas are better than basic, bar food.
Hot Honey
Toppings: signature sauce covered with cheese topped with cupping pepperoni finished with hot honey drizzle
Highlights: not too sweet, crispy pepperonis to balance the texture of the honey
Lowlights: still a bit sweet though so not perfectly balanced, and too generous on the honey

Garden Veggie
Toppings: signature sauce with mushroom, onion, green pepper, black olives
Highlights: solid veggie quality
Lowlights: plain, unexciting flavor
Gunnar is meat deprived

Toppings: alfredo base with garlic chicken, tomato & finished with blended cheese
