Pleasant Grove Pizza Farm
How far did we drive for this?
Another pizza farm to add to your list. Pleasant Grove Pizza Farm is about 75 minutes south of Minneapolis in Waseca, MN. We were able to stop by before the end of pizza farm season. So if you like what you see, be sure to head over next season.
The experience is the norm for pizza farms: wood-fired pizzas, live music, a mix of fresh and local ingredients, and bring your own utensils and seating. We brought plenty of stomach space too so we can taste test the following three pizzas:

MN Mess
Toppings: red sauce, sausage, black and green olives, mushrooms, green pepper
Highlights: good presentation and texture
Lowlights: nothing excellently done
Achieving mediocrity
Excellent at being average

Buster
Toppings: mushroom & sage olive oil, sausage, fresh basil, mushrooms, caramelized onions, fresh mozzarella
Highlights: mushroom and onions properly cooked
Thank you! Yes, you!
What's the cheese like?

Sweet Georgia Pie
Toppings: garlic infused olive oil, prosciutto, goat cheese, mozzarella, fresh arugula, honey
Lowlights: more sweet than savory
Which country are these goats from?
Does arugula placement matter?
